Team Nourishing Hope made every mile count this weekend at the Chicago Marathon! 🏁🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

We loved supporting our team every step of the way, from race-day setup to cheering runners on with food, fun and music! 🥕🎶 Every mile brought us closer to providing food for today and hope for tomorrow.

Thank you to the team at Whole Foods Market Lincoln Park for filling our Nourishing Our Neighborhoods van with fresh produce and pantry staples! 🍎🥕🥫

What a night, and what a community! 💙💚 Thank you to everyone who attended, donated, bid and helped make this year's so special. Together, we raised $1.1 million to provide free food, mental health counseling and social services to our Chicago neighbors.

We’re excited to welcome back Heidi (Heidi Keibler Stevens) to Team Nourishing Hope for the 2026 Chicago Marathon! 🏃‍♀️💚💙

A Chicagoan since 1998, Heidi first ran with Team Nourishing Hope in 2023 and is happy to be back for another marathon! Heidi is running for Nourishing Hope because she believes “no one should be hungry in a country as resource-rich as ours.”

After experiencing health setbacks that left her with a chronic heart condition, running has become a meaningful way for Heidi to care for and remind herself how lucky she is to be here. We’re so grateful to have Heidi back on Team Nourishing Hope and helping our neighbors access the nutritious food they need! 🏁🍎🥕
