Detroit-based members of our regional research team had the opportunity to visit Lee Plaza, one of Detroit’s oldest vacant high rises, and talk with Sachse Construction, the firm managing the renovation project. Among the many issues the team studies is the intersection of construction, real estate and affordable housing and this visit was part of an ongoing effort to understand conditions in the industry and their impact on the communities we serve.
