Latina women who work full time, year round, and part time earn only 51 cents for every $1 earned by a white male. Take a stand against pay discrimination & occupational segregation! We need for everywhere.

Think drinking water, breaks, and a voice on the job should be mandatory?
We do!
Go to bit.ly/HOTROC if you do too!
Y'all keep saying how hot it is at your restaurant jobs ...now's your chance to DO SOMETHING about it and create positive, lasting change for restaurant workers nationwide.
Earlier this summer, OSHA submitted their proposed rule to regulate heat on the job. Now, as part the democratic process, the rule is open to public comment from workers all over the country, who can leave a comment in support in any language, regardless of immigration status.
This is your chance to speak up and tell 'em just how unbearably hot it is at work. They want specifics, so bust out that Thermopen and get technical. Let them know what it feels like to be on your feet in front of the fryer for 10 hours with no breaks, no water, and no relief.
bit.ly/HOTROC...let's do this! And not just for us, but for restaurant workers in the future too ❤️🔥

Hey, did you know that *all* Chicago restaurant workers have access to Paid Leave?
This is a pretty big deal! Swipe through to learn the basics.
The Paid Leave ordinance includes sick time and paid time off. Sick time can be use for stuff like taking care of a sick family member, going to doctor's appointments, addressing domestic violence issues, or just like, when you're sick. Paid leave can be used for any reason, but your employer can deny your request.
While the ordinance creating Paid Leave goes into effect July 1, you'll be able to take sick time 30 days after July 1, and paid leave 90 days after July 1.
Questions? DM to talk to an organizer!
