We’re pleased to welcome Kelly Salzburg to the Lumity team! Kelly brings an impressive array of skills to her new role as Lumity’s Finance and Operations Manager. Her experience includes accounting, project management, and event coordination. Kelly is also a prolific fundraiser and volunteer who has shared her talents with numerous local nonprofit organizations.

Melinda is working closely with recent Lumity graduates and alumni to help them identify and pursue their next steps toward career success. Melinda has a passion for helping young people and experience in workforce development and career coaching.

YouthBuild Proviso Township
Lumity YouthBuild is a FREE program for people interested in construction. It is designed for young people (ages 17 to 24) without a high school diploma who want to advance their lives. We help you earn your GED, learn new skills, and plan your next move.
YouthBuild offers a combination of classroom and hands-on training. You’ll learn skills such as reading blueprints and using power tools. You’ll put your new talents to work building cabinetry and furniture and installing drywall. Throughout your training, you’ll have the support of the Lumity team to help guide and mentor you. At the end of the experience, you’ll be equipped with certifications—like OSHA 10 and NCCER—that will help you qualify for well-paying jobs.
