Had a great time riding my bike throughout the community with Joab and our Mayor. It was a great demonstration of the beauty of the Garfield Park Community.
I work everyday to make sure 28th Ward residents have a Westside to be proud of, and with the work we are getting done the Westside continues to rise.

This week, the A-Team traveled to East Garfield Park to clean up a vacant lot on the 3300 block of Warren and remove trash from the parkways on the 3400 block of Walnut.
We're ramping up our efforts and making our way through the ward — one block at a time. As always, if you see the A-Team out and about, show us some love. Or better yet, join us.

This week my colleagues voted to freeze wage increases promised to tipped workers a few years ago. I was proud to be the lone vote against this freeze and believe it is a mistake. Tipped workers of this City deserve a livable wage.
