PLEASE NOTE: There are two separate sign up sheets for these two separate activities on Wednesday, October 28, 2026.

If you are planning on participating in the Trick or Treat Halloween Celebration and Costume Contest, you must sign up at the front counter with office staff.

If you want to reserve a special Halloween meal, you must sign up at the table where you get lunch tickets.

IF YOU ARE PLANNING TO DO BOTH, please make sure to sign up on both sheets. Thank you.

We've had to extend our nomination period and change the date of our Board elections because we're having a hard time finding candidates. You do need to be an active volunteer at the center to run. Please consider becoming a Board Member here. Thanks.

Here's our next fundraising party for the center. Tickets will be available until October 28, 2026.

On October 28, 2026, we will have our Golden Diners Special Halloween Meal AND our Trick or Treat Halloween Celebration and Costume Contest. Please see the flyers here.

These are two separate events on the same day.

Number One: If you are interested in reserving the meal, you need to sign up at the table where you get your lunch tickets by October 16, 2026. This will reserve your meal that day until 12:00 p.m. Lunch is served at 11:30 a.m. and then there is a call for "seconds" at 12:00 p.m. This means if you have not picked up your lunch by 12:00 p.m., it is fair game to anybody on the waiting list, or a s second serving to someone who wants it.

Number Two: If you are interest in joining us for the fun Halloween activities (games, treats and costume contest) at 10:00 a.m. in the morning, you need to reserve your space at the front counter. Please ask for the Trick or Treat sign up sheet there. Please also be aware that you do not have to wear a costume to join in the fun. If you don't wear one, you will still be able to vote for the best and play our fun and easy Halloween games.

You can sign up for one or other or even both if you want. Hope to see you there!

Please Note: There is a new activity added to the calendar- Brain Health Trivia by the Alzheimer's Association on Thursday, October 29th at 10:00 a.m. See the flyer attached.

Also, I've attached a flyer for the December Senior Book Club. Sorry, due to scheduling problems, the library can't spare an employee in November.

Please notice there are dates missing from the Fall Menu below. These are dates when there is a party or a Special. When there is a party, we will have boxed lunches available for lunch. See the flier below for the Special Halloween Lunch. Make sure to sign up at the table where lunch tickets are distributed. Your name on this list reserves your lunch until 12:00 p.m. on the day of the lunch.
