My Cousin, Danny Lenihan, is a Chicago firefighter and suffered a critical injuries while battling a fire on a rooftop on Sunday March 29. He’s been in ICU at UIC Hyde Park and has a long battle ahead of him. Danny and his wife Stacy have three young children.

Nearly 300 volunteers from Plumbers Local 130 showed up today to support our candidates. Thank you to all the volunteers. The races we supported today were State Rep Jamie Andrade, State Senator Sara Fiegenholtz, State Senator Emil Jones, Candidate for Cook County Commissioner Trish Murphy, and Katherine C Morrison for Judge. Election Day is March 17th, don’t forget to vote!

Despite the freezing temperature in Chicago, I spent the day with Jim Coyne, the Queen and her court along with the Shannon Rovers. We stopped by numerous elected officials offices including the following: Water Rec President Kari Steele, Water Rec Commissioner Theresa Flynn, Senate President Don Harmon, Cook County Treasurer Maria Pappas, 39th Ward Alderman Samantha Nugent, and 34th Ward Alderman Bill Conway. Everyone enjoyed the visit. Stay warm Chicago!

We had a full house at Local 130 Plumber Hall for our annual Bears Smoker. Everyone had a great time!

Happy 4th of July!! 🇺🇸💙 We kicked off the day with another successful Niles Park District parade. Thank you Mayor George Alpogianis for hosting us.

We had a great turnout yesterday, with over 60 Local 130 Plumbers showing up to support Angelo “Skip” Saviano for Village President of Elmwood Park and his whole ticket. With just over a week to go, make sure you get out to vote!

Once again, Plumbers Local 130 had a successful weekend celebrating St. Patrick’s Day and dyeing the river green. Thank you to all the volunteers and all that participated!

Tonight, we were joined by The Shannon Rovers, Governor JBPritzker, Secretary of State Alexi Giannoulias, UA President Mark McManus and business manager Jim Coyne to kick off the festivities leading up to the St Patrick’s Day Parade.
