8th District Community Policing officers attended the annual "Breast Cancer Survivors and Awareness Walk" at Churchview Supportive Living. The walk was followed by a balloon release to remember victims and support survivors as well as those currently diagnosed.

Last night, tactical and beat officers assisted Police Helicopter 1 in tracking a stolen vehicle near 64th and Kedzie. Three adult males fled from the vehicle and into a nearby building. They were taken into custody and the pictured weapons and vehicle theft tools were recovered.
