Congratulations, Class of 2026 🎓

Surrounded by the community that helped shape them, Azariah, Chloe, Dasia, and Jayden at our James R. Jordan Club shared stories about their mentors and the support they found at the Club.

These members, along with so many others across our Clubs, are stepping into this next chapter with confidence, thanks to the foundation they found at Boys & Girls Clubs of Chicago.

Congratulations, seniors! We’re so proud of you and grateful to be part of your journey.

Thank you, Pete Crow-Armstrong! ⚾️

The Cubs center fielder recently invited a group of members from our Linda and Bill Gantz Club to Wrigley for a game and the exclusive opportunity to hang out with him in the dugout during warmups. Pete took the time to get to know our kids, answer questions about the Cubs and his life as a professional athlete, and sign their baseballs and jerseys before they took their seats to enjoy the game.

Thank you Chicago Cubs and Cubs Charities for this amazing experience and for making our members feel so special!

Summer is almost here!

Club kids at Ford Heights have big dreams for this summer. Royalti and her friends made vision boards to show how they hope their summer feels.

Our Clubs are open throughout the summer to provide a safe and supportive environment for all kids across Chicago.

Kids at our Ford Heights Club are so happy to have their Club back open, thanks to friends like you! Their favorite activity is art, especially when they get to be the canvas. 🎨

In Uptown, kids at the Pedersen-McCormick Boys and Girls Club are learning simple, affordable recipes they can recreate at home.

Mini chefs Anaiyah and Danayla built their pizzas together. The kitchen quickly became a place filled with teamwork that goes beyond the kitchen.

Moments like these are where that teamwork starts at the table and carries into everything they do.

The next generation of leaders 💙

At the 5th Annual Carol A. Walter Junior Youth of the Year Competition, we heard from eight incredible young people about what their Club means to them and celebrated their growth as aspiring leaders in their communities.

We are excited to announce that the 2026 Junior Youth of the Year is Kaylin! An eighth grader and proud member of the Linda and Bill Gantz Club, he has already made his mark as Torch Club president, serves as an assistant coach for the Club’s basketball team, and is currently fundraising to launch a podcast room to create a space for his peers to connect and find their voice.

Congratulations to Kaylin and all the incredible youth who inspire us every day and prove that leadership has no age limit.

Special thanks to the for hosting us at the and helping make this celebration unforgettable!
