Pastor Hannah and New Life Covenant Church are working wonders in revitalizing our 79th Street Corridor, including the planned transformation of the former Happy’s Liquors with a prominent healthcare provider and the conversion of a vacant building into a new state-of-the-art food pantry. Congrats to Raekwon and the amazing launch of his brand new daycare, Raekwon’s Scholastic Academy, located at 1246 East 87th Street! Raekwon has transformed an empty Aldi’s into a daycare that can accommodate 200 children, and he has brought on board 30 new teachers and staff members. Registration begins this week.

I had the chance to meet with Raven Cheryl Myers' parents, who unfortunately lost their daughter to a hit-and-run at 83rd and Clyde. It's really tough for a mom to go through something like this. Could you all do me a favor and spread the word by sharing this flyer? Let's help the police track down the vehicle and bring the responsible person to justice.
