Our 2nd grade Little Eagles had an amazing time exploring, discovering, and learning about so many incredible animals! From seeing their favorite animals up close to sharing laughs and making memories with friends, it was a day full of adventure, excitement, and hands-on learning! 💚

We are pleased to recognize Ms. Larsen as our Staff Spotlight of the Week!
Ms. Larsen exemplifies the golden rule: “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.” She consistently goes above and beyond by showing kindness, offering support, and always being willing to lend a helping hand.
We are especially grateful for the assistance she has provided on several occasions. She also keeps us informed when students face challenges or when something needs attention, demonstrating her genuine care and commitment to their well-being and success.

Mr. Fair is a wonderful example of how showing up for our students and staff helps build a healthy, supportive, and thriving school culture! He is always willing to lend a helping hand, supporting students and staff across all grade levels, floors, and lunch spaces.
He keeps equity and restorative practices at the heart of his work, making sure our students feel supported, valued, and understood. His dedication and willingness to be there for others make a meaningful difference in our school community every day.

Today, we want to give a HUGE shout-out to all of our incredible CICS Bucktown coaches who dedicate their time, energy, and passion to helping our athletes grow both on and off the court/field!

🏀 Coach T — overseeing Running Mates and Boys Basketball, thank you for the countless hours, dedication, and commitment you give to our teams. Your leadership and consistency make a difference!

🏀🏈 Coach Mansfield — overseeing Girls Basketball and Flag Football, thank you for the countless hours you put into teaching skills, developing athletes, and building confidence in every player. Your impact goes far beyond the game!

🏐 Coach Sequerra — overseeing Boys Volleyball, thank you for helping our athletes develop their skills, communication, teamwork, and confidence throughout the season. Your commitment to their growth does not go unnoticed!

On Friday, our CICS Bucktown parents stopped by to enjoy a cup of coffee, connect, share their thoughts, and ask questions with Principal Lee!
These opportunities are so important because building a strong school community starts with open communication, meaningful conversations, and strong relationships between our school and families.
Principal Lee loves having the opportunity to listen, answer questions, hear parent feedback, and work together to make CICS Bucktown an even better place for our Eagles to learn and grow!
