Brighton Park Neighborhood Council BPNC is a community organization on the Southwest side of Chicago. Brighton Park Neighborhood Council (BPNC) was founded in 1997.

BPNC unites individuals and neighborhood institutions to organize campaigns to win essential resources for one of Chicago’s most underserved communities, improve public policy and address the root causes of poverty and inequality.

We had a blast ringing in this spooky season with all 1,007 of you! 🍂🍁

We not only had pumpkin painting, horseback riding, a petting zoo and hot dogs— we also worked with a bunch of volunteers🎉

Thank you to our MCMF youth for putting this together!

Shoutout to Yollocalli Arts Reach, Party Per Purpose, Alpha Psi Lambda’s AX Chapter for volunteering with us and bringing the entertainment, Walgreens for their Flu vaccine station, 12th Ward Alderwoman Julia Ramirez, and our phenomenal organizers who pulled this together💪🏼

Join us for a hands-on community walk through of FAFSA, and other college and university applications, October 24th and December 5th at Kelly College Prep.

Learn about different Community Financial Aid options— here’s what’s to bring:

- Your 2025 federal tax returns, W-2's, and other records of money earned
- Banking statements and records of investments (if applicable)
- Records of untaxed income (if applicable)
- A list of colleges you would like to attend📚📓

We’re fighting to fund $15 million annually into CPS’s Mental Health support staff and services, and demand to reduce crisis protocols that lead to traumatizing hospitalizations of youth.

It’s BYOYM, but still have room for more🚖✈️

Bring Your Own Yoga Mat to our last community Learn & Play of the season, Saturday October 17th at the Service Center! La Casa Community will be providing soft play activities for the kids, pilates and dance fitness, as we come together to learn about the CPS School Board elections.

Come prepare for November 6th with us with a community gym session🗳️💪🏼
