Since 2001 Landmarks Illinois has been campaigning for reuse of the former Beaux-Arts hospital building. We commend President Preckwinkle for her leadership on this matter and we continue to offer our assistance. See background on this long-time advocacy campaign and information on Landmarks Illinois’ reuse study for the hospital that was presented to county commissioners in 2003: http://tinyurl.com/c8mhz8a Photos: Antunovich Associates Inc.
