After tonight, there is no confusion over the choice that is in front of us...on one hand we have a president who:
-denied the severity of COVID-19, cause colossal death counts and unfathomable economic damage
-jailed migrant children and authorized their hysterectomies
-failed to call out racist organizations
-sexually assaulted countless women
-stripped trans Americans of their healthcare access
among countless other examples of the type of policies that hurt the people of this nation...
Joe Biden is not everyone’s first choice. We’ve been known about that. But he stands for tackling this pandemic once and for all, expanding healthcare, closing tax loopholes that allow billionaires to pay little to none in taxes, and the expansion of rights for minorities.
He and all of us are the people that stand in the way of Trump and his march to a more divisive and more dangerous America. Vote in November for Joe Biden.
Six Takeaways From the First Presidential Debate
It was 90 minutes of chaos in a year of upheaval. But did it matter?

DePaul Democrats is mourning the losses of George, Breonna, and Amhaud by the hands of police brutality and systemic racism.
We are encouraged by the marches for justice. Yes, there is looting done by a few opportunists. This should not and cannot overshadow the goal of these marches: police reform and true justice.
We stand with the marchers and their pursuit of justice. If you can, march with us. If you cannot march, donate to the nail funds and other orgs. If you cannot donate, sign petitions. We all should and need to do our part.
Today is the start of Pride month. While we cherish and celebrate the advances in LGBT rights since the first thrown brick at Stonewall, we have to remember that Stonewall was a protest. The first of any challenges to injustice were protests. We have to all join together now to support the black and POC community in their pursuit of justice.
Only unity against racist and biased systems will bring about peace and justice. Stay strong. Stay safe. Stay in the fight ✊

BREAKING UPDATE on : WE DID IT.
Read our statement below on the email released by Chief of Academic Affairs and Acting Provost Salma Ghanem on her condemnation of Professor Jason Hill. This is a DIRECT result of the work and pressure WE, the coalition, students, alumni, AND faculty placed on the administration to take a stance against hate.
However, this campaign continues as we push for our long term demands so make sure to keep following along.
