*Call to Action!* Firefighter/EMT Danny Lenihan of Truck 27 suffered a stroke while in the performance of his roof operation duties at the beginning of April. Since then, Danny has been undergoing intense physical rehabilitation at Shirley Ryan in Chicago. Danny has made big steps forward and will be released from Shirley Ryan this Saturday. Danny will continue his intense rehabilitation at a Shirley Ryan location in Glenview (outpatient). We are asking everyone (who can make it) to congratulate Danny for his hard work and wish him the best in his next step of rehabilitation.
When: Saturday, May 23
Where: Shirley Ryan main entrance @ 355 E. Erie St. (Chicago)
Please come out to support Danny and his continued rehabilitation!

Battalion Chief 3 Patrick Lyons, 53 - Truck Co. 10
Chicago Fire Department. Chicago, IL
Chief Patrick Lyons of Battalion 3 suffered a fatal heart attack during a residential fire at 1653 Sedgwick Street. Lyons collapsed while directing firefighting operations. He was rushed to Grant Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
