Congratulations to Keith, a longtime member of IATAI!

Please join us in congratulating Lt. Keith Jackson on being named the 2025 City of Collinsville, Illinois (Official) Employee of the Year! Keith serves as the administrative lieutenant for the Collinsville Police Department. In that role, Keith has overseen the successful expansion/renovation of our dispatch center, acquired/managed multiple grants, and ensures that our civilian operations run smoothly on a daily basis. An example of the grant work completed by Keith in 2025 is a grant from Firehouse Subs that allowed us to purchase an emergency medical kit for each officer. Additionally, Keith serves as a board member of the Collinsville Food Pantry. Keith is not only an integral part of our CPD command staff, he is also a valuable asset to both city and community functions. Congratulations Keith and thank you for your dedicated service to our community!

At this year's conference, David Keltner was recognized with the IATAI Lifetime Achievement Award. Dave served as the IATAI President for well over a decade, he currently advises the current board as the Training Director. Dave was a leader in the Illinois State Police Traffic Crash Reconstruction Unit and instrumental in making the TCRU a full time position within ISP. Dave is currently the Major for the Chicago Region Command of ISP, providing services to the residents of 10 Illinois counties. Congratulations Dave!

Do you remember the 2023 dust storm in Illinois? There were dozens of vehicles involved and eight fatalities. Sergeant Mueller from Illinois State Police was the lead investigator at the scene.
