It’s been over a year since Marimar Martinez was shot five times by federal agent Charles Exum, when Chicago was invaded by ICE. Since then the federal government has tried to smear her name and there has yet to be accountability for what happened to her. 

I’m proud to stand with Marimar and our entire community as she fights back and continues her fight for justice.

Thank you to Our Lady of Mount Carmel for honoring his name, and the names of others who have died, because of our broken and inhumane immigration system.
