The Illinois Health Information Exchange (ILHIE) is a statewide, secure electronic network for sharing health information among provders.

The Illinois Office of Health Information Technology and The Illinois Health Information Exchange Authority work to promote the development of health information technology, increase the adoption and meaningful use of electronic health records, assure the privacy and security of electronic health information, and direct the implementation of the statewide health information exchange.

Please join the Governor's Office of Health Innovation and Transformation for the second installment of their Resources Webinar Series, this Friday, May 2nd at 11:00 a.m. Central Time.

The presentation will highlight public health data accessible through Data.Illinois.Gov. Stephen Konya, Chief of Staff at IDPH, will share how stakeholders can use (and are currently using) this tool. Also discussed will be how public health data resources align with the Innovation Plan, which includes improving access to public health data and synchronizing community health assessment efforts that require the use of public health data.
