Yesterday, the Italian Trade Agency - Chicago had the honor to host the Consul of Italy in Detroit, Paolo Zanotto, at the networking event organized at the Italian Pavilion at Battery Show North America, during which he met with the Italian companies at the forefront of technology in the automotive battery sector, backed by proven production experience.

The visit was representative of the strong economic and commercial ties between Italy and the United States, as well as the excellence of “Made in Italy.”

🇮🇹 Welcoming DePaul University to the Italian Trade Agency Chicago

Today, our office had the pleasure of welcoming students and faculty from DePaul University’s Italian Language Program to the Italian Trade Agency in Chicago.

It was a wonderful opportunity to discuss how Italy and the Italian language extend far beyond their rich cultural heritage, playing an important role in international business, trade, innovation, and economic relations between Italy and the United States.

We thank the professors and students who joined us for their enthusiasm, thoughtful questions, and interest in learning more about Italy’s global economic presence and the work of the Italian Trade Agency.

We hope today’s visit offered a glimpse into the many ways that language, culture, and international business come together to create opportunities and strengthen connections between our two countries.
