The Illinois Human Rights Act (IHRA) protects employees from unlawful discrimination, sexual harassment, and provides rights to certain reasonable workplace accommodations.

🚨 EMPLOYERS: SIGNAGE MUST BE PRESENT AND VISIBLE!!!

Employers are required to display workplace rights notices in a conspicuous location and include required information in employee handbooks.

•Beginning January 1, 2027, required workplace notices must also include information about THE RIGHT TO REASONABLE ACCOMMODATIONS FOR MENOPAUSE-RELATED CONDITIONS.

Illinois’ Restaurant Meals Program Is Expanding!

More access to meals. More opportunities for local businesses. Stronger communities!

Illinois’ Restaurant Meals Program has expanded to 50 participating restaurants across 16 counties, ensuring eligible SNAP individuals and or households purchase hot, prepared meals using their Illinois Link card.

Who qualifies?

Households where every member meets at least one of the following criteria:

•Adults age 60 and older
•Individuals with disabilities
•Spouses of eligible elderly or disabled individuals
•Individuals experiencing homelessness
