Have you heard? The Adams Street and Jackson Boulevard bridges over the Kennedy (I-90/94) are OPEN! The exit ramps to these bridges from the inbound Kennedy are also open!
Both new bridges are wider with two travel lanes and 10-foot-wide sidewalks, along with a dedicated bike lane on the Jackson Boulevard bridge. The entrance ramps from the bridges to the outbound Kennedy are anticipated to reopen in late December. Once open, they will connect traffic to the northbound collector-distributor road that also provides access to the ramps to Washington Boulevard, Madison Street, and Lake Street.
🚧 Construction update 🚧
The southbound I-90/94 to Randolph Street ramp will temporary close tonight (Sept. 9) at 10 p.m. until 4 a.m. Monday, Sept. 12 for the construction of structural foundations for large overhead signs that will be installed at a future date.
