We are a Level 1+ Chicago Public School that was founded in August of 1998.
We are an Alternative/Options High School for students, 16-21, who desire to achieve a high school diploma in a small, innovative & supportive environment. 1998-2008 - Dugan Campus @ 4541 South Wood Street
2001-Present - Second Chance Campus @ 5114 South Elizabeth Street
2008 - Present - Sinclair Campus @ 4946 South Paulina Street

Today, we wore our College SWAG (Staff Wearing Alternate Gear) to promote college during Postsecondary Week!

September was filled with lots of learning and a variety of extracurricular activities at PECHS! Guacapolooza, Traveling Zoo, field trips to the Sox game, Hermitage Community Garden, Institute for the Study of Ancient Cultures, College/Career Fair and 28 of our students received their CityKey Id and library cards at the Back of the Yards Library. Let’s see what October has in store!
