Our Story
We're on a mission to create effective, innovative workforce re-entry practices by offering tools and free online resources to help Rebuilders get hired in jobs that pay at least $18-20/hr. Over 500 hours of criminal justice system user research shows us that less hourly pay will result in economic stress and instability that leads to criminal behavior so we aim to eliminate that factor for our users. Life happens 24/7, so we believe that effective workforce development tools, resumes and references, as well as personal documents, should be available all of the time as well, alleviating stress for our users. We also offer over 3,000 free college courses and a system for harvesting references allowing users a higher rate of success than without the strategic tools and career strategy sessions we offer to over 2,000 Chicago area youth and adults since 2017.
