Freckles the Firehouse Dog, ‘mayor of West Loop,’ dies after nearly 17 years at Engine 103 Freckles was the inspiration for "Pouch," the firehouse dog in NBC’s "Chicago Fire," said Alfred Cousineau, an Engine 103 firefighter.
It's with heavy hearts to announce that Freckles is no longer with us. All the firefighters and neighbors will miss our beautiful friend. RIP buddy

Recovered and recuperated back at Engine 103.
Yesterday went to see Dr. Jason Long at Animal Care Center of Chicago got my staples removed. My knee is still a little swollen , i am still on restricted activity. See everybody soon.
Doing well after surgery. Doing my therapy getting better everyday!

Tomorrow morning is my surgery . Having a repair of Left ACl,at Animal Care Center of Chicago by Dr. Jason Long and Dr. Joanna Krol.Thank you to everyone who donated to my go fund me page ,cash warm thoughts and prayers. Will keep you posted on my recovery.
