Congratulations to my friend Father Deograrias "Father Deo" Mbonyumugenzi who had his installation mass as Pastor of St. Elizabeth of the Trinity Parish today.

The mass was presided over by Auxiliary Bishop John Siemianowski (shown in image)

Father Deo is a survivor of the 1994 Rwandan genocide and entered the seminary when he was just 12 years old. He is a God fearing man who has a spirit to serve people.

May God bless him on his journey to help bring light and love to the good people of our community. 🙏

Happy 90th Birthday to Mrs Shirley Rusteyer, who is a Norwood Park and proud
resident who is celebrating her 90th Birthday this afternoon with friends, family, and neighbors.

The Rustemeyer family have lived in Norwood Park since 1971 and her three children attended Onahan Elementary and Taft or Von Steuben High Schools.

Shirley was married to her husband for 63 years before he passed due to complications from Alzheimer's.

May Shirley enjoy her birthday on this beautiful weekend and may she have many more birthday celebrations to come. 🥂 💐
