Billionaires and charter school lobbies have spent more than $5.2 million on the school board race, more than $2.8 million in the last two weeks alone. So we built thebillionaireboard.com to help track how much is being spent and what races and candidates are supported by charter schools and billionaires.

The school board elections are happening soon, November 3rd, and a lot of people are not aware of what’s going on. The billionaires think they can buy this election by spending a fortune on ads. So we need to make sure that we talk to as many people as we can to let them know who will be rubber stamp for the charter school and billionaire agenda.

Thank you to all the volunteers who joined us to canvass for our school board, police district council, and municipal candidates!

We are 3 weeks away from Election Day on Nov 3, and 1 week away from early voting at the ward level, which means every door we knock is crucial to get out the vote for our .

The School Board race is especially important because candidates who are funded by billionaire Michael Sacks, recently got a major infusion of cash, dropping $2.5 million in September alone. He then dropped an extra $150k this week.

So join us to spread the word about candidates committed to keeping public schools open and to fund them.

It is time again for our weekly Saturday canvass, TOMORROW at 11am! Join us to GET OUT THE VOTE for our School Board Candidates: Hilario for School Board President , Debby Pope for District 2B , Claudia Peralta for Chicago School Board 1B , and Norma Rios-Sierra!

We are also collecting signatures for Rossana Rodriguez for 33rd ward alder, and Beth Rochford, Lisa Levy, and Paddy Lindley for District 17 Police Council (aka: The Team for 17)!

We need to defend our public schools, keep our schools open, hold police accountable, and to make sure Chicago is a and not the few.

Thank you to everyone who joined us this past weekend to knock doors for our School Board slate, especially our champion Debby Pope for District 2B! And our special guests from 39th Ward Neighbors United! As well as gathering signatures for Rossana Rodriguez and our Team for 17th Police District!

33WF is the organization that never sleeps! Thank you to everyone who joined us this weekend as we canvassed for our School Board Candidates on Saturday afternoon, fundraised for our Springfield Candidates Saturday evening, and biked the ward to fundraise for Rossana Rodriguez on Sunday afternoon!
