Vanessa was honored to present a guest lecture to the Masters level students at the Adler School of Professional Psychology in November 2011. Her lecture focused on clinical work with traumatized clients. Issues explored included PTSD, assessing a client's background for the presence and impact of trauma, EMDR and other treatment options, and how to help clients deal more effectively with depression, anxiety and dissociation so commonly experienced after living through a traumatic experience.
