Homeless Army Veteran - Matthew is out on the streets panhandling for money to be able to at least eat. We were able to get him a meal along with a bag with much needed supplies. Unfortunately, addiction has made life extremely difficult along with the loss of his right arm after his service. Recent donations have allowed for us to continue our mission as we head into Year Eight!!! We can never express our gratitude enough to those that support our work. Thank you!!!

An incredible story and great admiration for this last surviving sailor who is now joining his shipmates on the decks of the USS Arizona. Fair winds and following seas! SEMPER FORTIS!

Carried by U.S. Navy divers, the cremains of World War II veteran and Pearl Harbor survivor Harvey Milhorn are returned to their final resting place. He is escorted home to the USS Arizona, where he will rejoin his fallen shipmates in the silent waters of the memorial, completing a journey that began more than 80 years ago.🕊️🇺🇸⚓

The homeless population, here in the state, is going to be impacted greatly as the IL state budget has cut $14M for housing/shelter and other services in one program. Costs are high as it is and to have this money allocated to "other" unnecessary spending by lawmakers is insane. Please read the article.
