Mark your calendar, February 28, 2020, to experience a virtual reality exhibit featuring Dr. King and the historic “I Have a Dream Speech”. Imagine being part of the crowd at this historic event, and you can share with friends and family at the DuSable Museum.
Today, January 15th, is Martin Luther King Jr.’s birthday. This iconic photograph was taken at the historic March on Washington at the Lincoln Memorial August 28th, 1963. Time Studios along with the MLK Jr. Estate has created a virtual reality experience that will begin exhibiting at the DuSable Museum on February 27th, 2020. ‘The March’ will bring museum visitors into the crowd and up close with late civil rights leader as he delivers his famous ‘I Have a Dream’ speech. This will be the first time the King Estate has licensed Kong’s image and words for this virtual reality experience. It is guaranteed to be an historic exhibit so stay tuned for more information.
