Make sure to bring the kids out to our 16th Annual Meet The Easter Bunny & Coloring Contest Event on Saturday, April 4th, between 1pm - 3pm, at The Hegewisch Chamber of Commerce 13330 S. Baltimore Ave. We will have Free Bags of Candy, Cupcakes, Popcorn, Juice Drinks, Bottled Water and Easter Basket Raffles. Also, Free Picture Taking with The Easter Bunny and again, it’s ALL FREE! Remember, don’t forget to bring your Coloring Contest Picture to the event for a chance to win a Great Prize!

So, make sure to stop by this Saturday, April 4th, at The Hegewisch Chamber of Commerce for our Meet The Easter Bunny & Coloring Contest Event. It’s not only fun for the children, but the adults will enjoy it as well.

Also, it’s always the perfect time to visit one of our Great Local Businesses throughout our Great Community!

Our 17th Annual, Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony, will be held on Friday, December 12th. Hot Chocolate, Coffee, Cookies, & Candy Canes will be served, before and after the Awesome Christmas Tree Lighting. Also, Christmas Music will be playing at the corner of 133rd & Baltimore Avenue & at the Hegewisch Chamber. After the Christmas Tree Lighting, Santa will read Twas The Night Before Christmas at the Very Festively Lit Hegewisch Chamber. After the reading, Santa will hand out Treats to the children. Plus, we can’t forget Frosty & Rudolph also hanging out at the Hegewisch Chamber. Bring the family or bring a friend, make it a tradition or keep the tradition. It really is an all-around Great Time. Plus, it will definitely get you on Santa’s Nice List! There really is absolutely no excuse not to stop by. Not only will you have a Great Time, but it’s All FREE!!!

Also, it’s very important to support our Great Local Businesses that are throughout our community. So, while you are up here, make sure to take some time and visit a few of them.

HEGEWISCH RESIDENTS!

We will be having our Annual Back To School Event on Saturday, August 16th, between 1:00pm & 3:00pm, at the Hegewisch Chamber of Commerce 13330 S. Baltimore Ave.

At the event we will be giving away Free School Supplies, Popcorn, Water & Juice. We will also have many Free Raffles including Back Packs that will be filled with School Supplies.

This event, like all of our events, are always FREE to everyone in the community.

OK, Get Ready, It’s Today, December13th and you don’t want to miss it! Stop in the Hegewisch Chamber, grab a Hot Chocolate and a Cookie, Listen to some Great Christmas Music and see Santa at the Lighting of The Beautiful Christmas Trees. Then, come back to the Very Festively Lit Hegewisch Chamber and listen to Santa read Twas The Night Before Christmas & hand out Treats to the children. What else could you ask for! So just a quick recap, there will be Hot Chocolate, Coffee, Bottle Water, Cookies & Candy served at the Very Festively Lit Hegewisch Chamber. We will also have Christmas Music Playing out on the corner of 133rd & Baltimore Avenue by the Christmas Trees. After the Christmas Tree Lighting, Santa will be back at the Hegewisch Chamber reading Twas The Night Before Christmas and handing out Treats to the children.

Make sure, either before or after the event, to take some time and visit one of our Great Local Businesses in our community. Also, try and stop by one that you may have not been in yet, you never know, you just might become one of their regular customers!

It’s a Great Event & Great Community and that is why I have been doing this event for the past 16 years.
