◾ Larry Bird: "I would never call him the best player I've ever seen if i weren't serious."
◾ Magic Johnson: "There's Michael Jordan, then the rest of us."
◾ Allen Iverson: "Mike is the GOAT, Mike will always be the GOAT."
◾ Shaquille O'Neal: "The Last Dance only solidified the argument about who is the greatest player of all time."
◾ Kevin Durant: "MJ is one of one, god level, incomparable, a pure master at this s**t. I'm still watching their games to learn."
◾ Dwayne Wade: "MJ was chosen to be the Greatest of All time."
◾ Jerry West: "He is the best athlete i have seen in Basketball."
◾ Patrick Erwing: "Lebron is incredible, but he's not Michael Jordan."
◾ Vince Carter: "I have yet to give it to Michael Jordan. Kobe Bryant second."
◾ Hakeem Olajuwon: "When people start comparing Lebron to Jordan, it's not a fair comparison. Jordan was a much more superior player in a tougher league. He was very creative. That doesn't take anything away from Lebron because he's a great player, but it's not fair comparison, Jordan is simply far superior."

Whether he’s in New York, Cleveland, Detroit, or Minnesota, we all view Derrick Rose for what he was in Chicago. The highs and lows of his Bulls career left an indelible mark on everyone.

Now, at 34 years old, Rose finds himself without a team but he’s not one without a home. And maybe it’s time for him to come full circle.

Consider what he said last year:

“I just want to be happy playing basketball. Of course, if I could get one [championship], that would be great. But I always felt like me being on the court in year 15, that is kind of like a championship for me.”

We couldn’t agree more.

He’s the youngest MVP in league history but his career isn’t defined by accolades. It’s about bouncing back and finding joy on his own terms.

Screw the ring chase. We need the scriptwriters working on Pooh’s Homecoming.
