Advisory Council for our tiny neighborhood playground! Andersonville Park is named for the Andersonville section of the Edgewater community.

The neighborhood began to develop rapidly in the early 1900s, when the city's elevated trains first reached the area. Around World War I, large numbers of Swedish immigrants moved north to Andersonville from earlier "Swede Towns" on Chicago's Near North Side and Lake View neighborhoods. Chicago Public Schools (CPS) and the Chicago Park District (CPD) have partnered to support the new Elementary School Sports program. As part of this partnership, CPD will hire and manage oncoming staff. That’s where you and your network comes in! We are in need of getting this job opportunity out to the public quickly. Can you help? Will you help?

· At least 18 years old
· High school diploma or equivalent
· Love sports and children
· Be able to pass both a drug test and fingerprinting
