The firing of Kristi Noem doesn’t bring back Alex Pretti or Renee Good.
It doesn’t free the thousands of people being denied their rights and detained in inhumane, unclean and unsafe conditions IN THIS COUNTRY, RIGHT NOW.
It doesn’t re-unite children separated from their parents and it doesn’t make families sheltering at home, terrified to leave even for groceries or a doctor’s appointment, feel any safer.
The firing of Kristi Noem doesn’t undo any of the horrors she rubber-stamped but damn does it feel good to think she might finally feel embarrassment or shame for something.
