We are incredibly grateful to Sister Tiffany Alexander and her team at The Most Worshipful United Grand Lodge A.F and A.M. and The Queen of Sheba Grand Chapter Order of the Eastern Star for their generous donation of three large boxes of winter coats!

Here's a startling fact: Kidney failure occurs in Black Americans about three times as much as it does in White Americans. That's why events like these are so important, and why we're proud to stand together in support of kidney health for all.

March is National Kidney Awareness Month, so what better time to show our support? Family Focus is proud to be part of the "Black Family Day" K.A.R.E. for your Kidneys event, alongside the National Kidney Foundation of Illinois (NKFI) and amazing partners like The Links, Incorporated and Black K.A.R.E. Plus, we're looking forward to hearing from the inspiring lineup of speakers including April Kennedy MD, Senator Willie Preston, Erin Barnett from Black Girls Dance, and Rhonda Wheatley, artist and healer.
