KTHD is located in Chicago North Lawndale area - Pulaski Rd. to the east, Cermak Ave. to the south, Kostner Ave. to the west and Cullerton St. to the north

The K-Town Historic District was an idea brought to reality by Charles Leeks, Director of Neighborhood Housing Services’ (NHS) North Lawndale office. Under its mandate to build strong communities through home ownership, NHS turned its attention to our small area.
