Colorectal cancer is now the deadliest cancer in people under age 50 and the second deadliest overall. That's why awareness, education, and screening remain critical.

Following the release of the updated American Cancer Society colorectal cancer screening guidelines, the Colorectal Cancer Alliance's Screen Smart initiative is helping patients and healthcare professionals better understand what the updates mean, including new stool-based and blood-based screening options.

The Screen Smart initiative is dedicated to saving lives through screening education and encouraging informed conversations between patients and their healthcare providers. Because when it comes to colorectal cancer, early detection can make all the difference.
