To everyone who donated to support families coming from across the country to be in Chicago this weekend. To the speakers who participated in the panels and discussions. And to the impacted families and activists who took this conference seriously, came together, united in love for one another and hatred for our enemy.

We are almost ONE WEEK away from the Re-Build The Movement Against Police Brutality and Against the Grifters Conference in Chicago!!
We need a big push for donations to help support impacted families get to the conference! Please donate what you can and share widely!!
At FDJ, we believe that bringing forward families can be a powerful weapon in the struggle against police brutality. But we have to be organized and have a strategy. This is why we are holding this conference, to talk about the problems our movement faces, and figure out how we can rebuild the movement on solid foundations. Lets make it happen!!

Featured speaker at the Re-Build The Movement Against Police Brutality and Against the Grifters Conference in Chicago, IL: Olivia Villalobos
Olivia Villalobos is a fierce voice in Riverside, CA who fights for getting the killer cops jailed that killed her son, Peter Villalobos, on June 20, 2025. She has had to struggle against a system that has yet to release her son’s autopsy report and has delayed any answers to why her son was brutalized and beaten by Riverside Police that led to his death hours later. Olivia has refused to give up the fight to get justice for her son even in the face of repression by the police, harassment by the McDonald’s employees at the site of his beating, and the city’s failure to take any action. For Olivia, a mother’s fight is more than just fighting for justice, but to make it known that Peter was a kind man who was loved deeply by his family and friends.
Join Olivia, impacted families, and activists for a weekend of critical discussions on re-building the movement against police brutality and against the grifters!

Why is FDJ hosting the Re-Build The Movement Against Police Brutality and Against the Grifters Conference in Chicago?
Chicago is a great example of why the movement against police brutality must be rebuilt and why grifters should have no place in it. From reformist schemes that claim to keep the pigs in check, to the election of Mayor Brandon Johnson who ran on police accountability but has done nothing to reign in CPD, the movement has suffered greatly. Telling lies and claiming easy victories won't stop police brutality. Only the masses of people can put an end to it, and families impacted by police brutality have an important role to play.
