Thank you to all the volunteers who came out to mulch trees and clean Kelvyn Park PAC today! Jaime, Rachel, Azucena + parents, neighbors Margaret, Matt, Ray, Alma + the Hermosa Neighborhood Association, the squirrel who ate our doughnuts + fruit, Carlise from the Chicago Park District, and Friends of the Parks who coordinated + provided free supplies 🫶 ❤️ People power 💪 gets things done! Part of the 1.5m grant awarded for park repairs, the roof repairs are now happening over the lower level gymnasium with metal roof panel replacements & sealing for leaks. Let’s see how long the weather holds up…progress is progress!
