It’s been a busy spring legislative session as I have worked to tackle issues important to our community. Some measures I have been proud to pass include:
Senate Bill 4025 which works to accelerate lead service pipe replacements across Illinois.
Senate Bill 3336 would work to regulate the use of toy vehicles, motor-driven bicycles and other small, low-speed electric mobility devices by establishing regulations.
House Bill 4514 works to increase transparency on utility rates.
Senate Bill 3565 which works to ensure townships may provide additional food assistance to residents.
Keep tuning in as we head into the last week of legislative session!
