On this Memorial Day, please pause to honor and remember the brave men and women of the United States Armed Forces who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country. Their courage, selflessness, and unwavering dedication to protecting our freedoms will never be forgotten.

Today, we remember the heroes who never made it home, pray for their families, and reflect on the true cost of freedom.

May we never forget their sacrifice. Have a Happy & Safe Memorial Day

Recently, we participated in the Annual Taste of FOP, hosted by Chicago John Dineen Lodge No. 7

This annual event brings together multiple Chicagoland-based ethnic law enforcement organizations, each serving and showcasing their respective ethnic foods, cultures, and traditions.

More importantly, the evening highlighted the strength, unity, and diversity that exists within the law enforcement community.

Events such as this are vital in fostering relationships between officers of different backgrounds, strengthening camaraderie throughout the department, and promoting cultural awareness and understanding.

Our ethnic law enforcement organizations not only preserve heritage and traditions, but also provide mentorship, fellowship, charitable outreach, and support for officers and their families.

The shared goal among all participating organizations was to attract new membership and emphasize the importance of being involved, both within the law enforcement profession and throughout the communities we proudly serve.

Thank you, FOP Lodge 7 for hosting another successful event and for continuing to support the many ethnic organizations.

Today, we were honored to welcome Kamil, Racuch, and Michał, a K9 team from Warsaw, Poland, during their recent visit to the United States for specialized K9 training in Texas.

The team, consisting of a Polish Police Officer, a cadaver dog, and a volunteer firefighter, reached out to the Polish-American Police Association after hearing about our organization and expressing a desire to meet fellow Polish Law Enforcement Officers, especially K9 Officers from Chicago.

Excited for the opportunity, many PAPA members gathered at Schiller Woods for a special meet-and-greet. The dogs had an opportunity to interact, training experiences and stories were exchanged, and new friendships were formed through our shared dedication to service and public safety.

PAPA Board Members proudly presented our guests with challenge coins and patches as a symbol of friendship, respect, and international brotherhood.

Following the gathering, everyone enjoyed a true Chicago tradition as we treated our guests to Gene & Jude’s famous Chicago hot dogs.

We wish our new friends safe travels back to Poland, and we hope to welcome you all back to Chicago again in the future.

Dziękujemy za wizytę i do zobaczenia ponownie!

This past weekend, it was an honor to es**rt the Highlander Riders annual motorcycle ride in memory of Saint John Paul II, while also taking part in beautifying our community by planting flowers in the planter that we proudly adopted through the Planting Pride program with the Chicago Ridge Lions Club.

As an organization, we firmly believe that serving the community extends far beyond the badge. We take immense pride in supporting events and initiatives that unite people, honor tradition, and strengthen the communities we are privileged to serve. Opportunities like these reflect the true spirit of service, pride, and commitment to our neighborhoods.
