John Hancock College Prep High School John Hancock College Prep HS is a selective enrollment school in the Chicago Public Schools district. We serve students from grades 9-12 throughout the city.

We are located on the southwest side of Chicago, accessible by the Orange line and Pulaski/55th Street bus.

Over a three-day weekend, Hancock debaters put in the work, took the floor, and made their case at Tournament 1.

Six schools competed. Hancock put 8 teams in a 20-team Novice field and an 11-team JV and Varsity field. JV competed at the Varsity level. They made their voices heard from the early hours into the evening hours of Saturday.

The cluster program and Mr. Jimenez's history class came together on Thursday, September 28, in honor of Hispanic Heritage Month. Mr. Jimenez’s students wrote and shared original stories showcasing diverse Hispanic cultures during a special read-aloud session.The Cluster Program made and served lemonade through their Brew Crew service for everyone to enjoy. It was an enriching and positive experience for all involved.

An undefeated conference run, a dominant 2-0 Homecoming victory against Kelly, and a hard-fought 4-2 playoff win yesterday against Acero-Garcia: our Boys Varsity Soccer team is must-see TV!
