We extend our deepest condolences to our brothers and sisters in the Chicago Police Department on the loss of Officer John Bartholomew.
Our thoughts are especially with the members of the 24th District, where Officer Bartholomew proudly served before transferring to the 17th District. His dedication to the communities of Rogers Park and Chicago will not be forgotten.
We stand with you during this difficult time, keeping his family, friends, and fellow officers in our prayers.

Burning up north. The first shift was the initial response team to tackle another 🔥, resulting in multiple saves. Can you think of a better way to bond with your shift than fighting a fire?

One of the last times the 9th Battalion had all three styles together. Three trucks, built in different eras but all carrying the same weight of responsibility, sacrifice, and pride.
These rigs aren’t just steel and ladders… they hold years of calls, memories, and brothers who answered without hesitation.
Moments like this remind us how fast things change but the heart of the job never does.
