One in four Chicago youth under the age of 18 live in poverty. For Chicago’s youngest residents, that figure is 43.5% and as high as 90% in some communities.

Some youth in Chicago have never:
been on a plane
seen the ocean
left their neighborhood
imagined international travel
Not because they lack potential.
Because they lack access.
We believe exposure changes everything.

Chicago youth are often told what they can’t become before they ever discover what’s possible. We are changing that.

Many of our youth have never had a passport. Some don’t even have the documents needed to apply for one.

This is bigger than travel. This is exposure, opportunity, confidence, and showing Chicago youth they belong in every room and every country they dream about.
