During early morning patrols on May 26th, 22nd District officers attempted to stop a suspicious vehicle near Ada Park. The vehicle fled, striking a squad car, and the occupants fled on foot but were quickly apprehended. Pictured items were recovered from the vehicle. Nice work!

Hazmat incident reported in the alley near 3047 W. 111th St. - Motorists are encouraged to seek alternate routes due to traffic congestion.

On May 22nd, 22nd District tactical officers conducted a traffic stop in the 400 blk of W. 111th St. The passenger exited, battered an officer and fled on foot. The officers quickly apprehended the offender and recovered a loaded handgun equipped with a switch in his waistband.

On May 22nd , 22nd District tactical officers responded to a large street gathering on the 1100 Blk of W 104th St. Officers observed an individual holding what appeared to be a handgun. The female juvenile observed was placed into custody and charged with possession of a handgun.

On 22 Feb during the early morning hours, Quilter's Trunk, in the 103rd blk of Western, sustained window damage after an individual used an etching marker and fled. Through technology and investigative efforts, felony criminal defacement charges were recently approved.

On May 20th, 22nd District officers responded to a call of a driver slumped over the wheel near 109th & Vincennes. During the investigation, the driver exited the vehicle revealing a handgun in his pocket. The convicted felon was charged with weapon possession and resisting.
