Join us this Saturday for a very special event!

Early Learners' Literacy Nest Rededication and Open House
Saturday, October 24 | 12-2 p.m.

See the refurbished play space for children up to age 5. The Early Learners' Literacy Nest was first created in November 2022 with funding from Friends. It has been completely redone with new furniture, a play kitchen, toys, and a rug.

The rededication will include storytelling with Chicago Public Library Commissioner Chris Brown and a craft for children. In the Betty A. Barclay Community Room on the second floor, attendees may begin a short library tour, choose a free book from Women & Children First Bookstore (while they last), write their Edgewater Story, and enjoy light refreshments.

We hope you can stop by and share the Early Learners' Literacy Nest Rededication and Open House with your Friends! .
