Garfield Park Conservatory The Garfield Park Conservatory & Gardens in Chicago, Illinois is one of the largest and most stunning conservatories in the world.

We change lives through the power of nature. The Garfield Park Conservatory opened to the public in April 1908, and has been dazzling visitors with its extensive plant collection ever since. The Conservatory is open every day of the year, and admission is free (some events and exhibits have a suggested donation to enter). Free parking is available just south of the main entrance. The Garfield Park Conservatory Alliance is a non-profit organization housed in the Conservatory, providing all the events, activities, workshops and programs. The Garfield Park Conservatory Alliance is a 501(c)3 organization.

Creatures of the Night is back at the Garfield Park Conservatory & Gardens! Get up close and personal with the natural world with activities and crafts for all ages October 28th, 4-7pm. Animal experts will bring in animals for kids to meet and learn about while our nature education teachers provide activities and crafts for all levels.

Activities include:
🍁Lawns games
🍁Live animals by Insect Asylum, Incredible Bats, and Natural Naturalist
🍁U of I Extension insect petting zoo
🍁Haiku happy hour (free haikus)
