Boasting of healthy mineral water it became an amazing place to experience the mineral baths and drink the mineral waters.

89 years ago, in the Fall of 1937, Bidwell Park in Chico, CA was transformed into Sherwood Forest for the Warner Brothers on location filming of Robin Hood. Errol Flynn, Olivia de Havilland and many more stars and production crews arrived by train in Chico and the small town welcomed the notoriety. Many locals were enlisted as extras. Chico area residents helped supply the many requests and needed items and the town was alive with the splash of Hollywood.
Flynn and many of the cast and crew stayed at Richardson Mineral Springs.
