The news may be spooky but make sure you vote. Do NOT wait til the last minute.

Here's a little returned ballot update: As of Monday afternoon, about 20% of local voters have returned their ballots. In the city of Chico, about 50% of all ballots returned have been from Democrats, about 30% from Republicans, and the rest from no party and minor party voters. Both Democrats and Republicans are voting at a higher level than their percentage of registered voters, while no party voters are returning ballots at a lower rate.
Older voters continue to dominate, as over 40% of those over 65 have returned ballots, compared to only 6% of those under 35 and 11% of voters aged 35-49.
All of this is fairly typical for this stage of a mid-term election. The rate of return will accelerate from here. Please do vote now. We know that the federal government wants to mess with the election process and the latest ballots will be most vulnerable! Get it done!

Opponents of Shelby Hebert are using the classic playbook: misinform, lie, and use AI to distract voters from truth.

Vote Shelby Hebert for District 2.

Folks: That post claiming that your ballot will be invalidated if a poll worker makes a mark on it is absolutely false. There are some real things to be worried about this election but that is NOT one of them. And there are some states where making a mark on the ballot is a required part of the process, so that false information can do real harm. PLEASE do not spread that and, if you have posted it in the past please take it down.

Several states require poll workers to mark ballots as part of the verification process.

The Trump regime has diverted large numbers of agents who normally investigate serious crimes to the hunt for almost non-existent non-citizen voting. They are finding tens of cases!

Nine states have reportedly been targeted in the latest surge by the Department of Homeland Security to root out voter fraud. One state told MS NOW the findings there have been single-digit.
