His previous novel, Rockit Crew (The Adventures of Teenage Hip Hop Misfits), has reached readers around the world, been accepted into the new Hip Hop Museum in The Bronx, and earned a place on recommended reading lists in several high schools.
As a public speaker, Shane has presented at the United Nations and in schools, bringing an engaging message centered on youth empowerment, mentorship, career readiness, and the transformative power of storytelling.
Professionally, Shane is an award-winning early career talent development and management leader with extensive experience designing, driving, and leading enterprise strategies that build strong early career talent pipelines for Fortune 100 organizations.
A retired distinguished Air Force Reserve Senior Master Sergeant, Shane has led high-performing teams, been recognized as Mentor of the Year, and served in the White House Communications Agency, bringing a deep commitment to leadership, service, and helping others rise.
