Parent-Teacher Conferences are scheduled for Thursday, October 22, from 1:00 pm to 7:00 pm in the Chillicothe High School gymnasium. Parent-teacher conferences are very important for each student who attends school in the Chillicothe R-II School District, regardless of grade level. Every student has an opportunity to benefit when their parents and teachers discuss their progress. Parent-teacher conferences allow teachers and parents to share important information about a student’s educational program and progress. Also, the parent can have direct input into their child’s academic progress by providing the teachers with information about the student and their activities at home.

Parents may expect the following at the parent-teacher conferences:
· Information regarding the student’s grades and academic progress.
· Information regarding the educational strengths of the student.
· Information regarding student needs for academic improvement.
· Suggestions for students’ educational goals for the immediate future.
· An explanation of course objectives and an indication of the student’s progress.

Student Test Scores & Progress:

While at CHS, our counselors will be available to share important testing information from last year, including:
- State-mandated test results (such as 8th-grade MAP scores and any End-of-Course / EOC scores)
- Results from last year's Mega Test Day, including Pre-ACT and ASVAB scores

Senior Parents:

For parents of high school seniors, you will receive an A+ Status sheet detailing where your student stands regarding the A+ Scholarship, as well as an update on your student's College & Career Readiness score.

College & Career Planning:

Mrs. Wolf will be on-site at her own table to answer any questions regarding your student's post-high school plans and available scholarship opportunities. Please make sure to stop by and visit her!

Teacher Locations:

CHS Teachers: Located inside the CHS Gym.
Litton Ag Center Teachers: Located inside the CHS Gym.
GRTS Teachers: To meet with Grand River Technical School (GRTS) instructors, please note that you will need to physically drive over to the GRTS building.

Congratulations to Kadence Clark and Alyssa Talbert; they were the R.A.K.E. award winners for today. They were identified as doing the following;

Kadence Clark- Kadence allowed an 8th grade flute player to borrow her flute for their parade performance when the 8th grader's flute broke down there with no chance of repair before the performance

Alyssa Talbert- I had to print a roster and go take attendance in the library. I printed the roster super tiny and was struggling to read it, Alyssa came right over, took it and started taking attendance for me
